A vast landscape during an elopement in the Dingle peninsula

Stormy Dingle Peninsula Elopement in Ireland

A full-day adventure elopement around Connor Pass, Slea Head Drive and Dunquin Pier

To say we got lucky with the weather during this Dingle peninsula elopement in Ireland is quite the understatement. It was absolutely CRAZY the days before (even by Irish standards), and I found myself in the heaviest storm I have ever seen, with the strongest winds I have ever felt. Anyway, thankfully on the actual elopement day of Bailey & Owen, who flew in from the United States, everything was pretty much perfect.

After they got ready in the beautiful Emlagh House in Dingle, we first headed out to Connor Pass and the nearby waterfall.

Dreaming of eloping in Ireland?

Let’s make it happen:

Dunquin Pier elopement ceremony and vows

We made our way along the scenic Slea Head drive, stopped multiple times along the stunning Atlantic coast for photos and grabbed some lunch at Kruger’s Bar, the countries western-most pub.

This entire part of Ireland is so breathtakingly beautiful, it’s insane. For an adventure elopement like this one, it really doesn’t get any better than the Dingle peninsula, believe me. Something like this Slieve League Cliffs elopement might at least give it a run for its money, though.

The weather had shifted a bit by the end of the day and our last stop for their ceremony and vows at Dunquin Pier (which I also visited during this elopement in Ireland) was therefore shorter than planned. All in all, this had been such a dream though and yet another amazing elopement in Ireland. I absolutely cannot wait to be back soon.
