Ireland Elopement Photographer
Discover an Elopement adventure on Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way
Ireland offers the perfect mix of peaceful landscapes and spectacular views for every couple dreaming of a romantic and adventurous Elopement.
This one began in a charming countryside cottage, before we set off to explore Ireland’s stunning Atlantic coastline. To slowly get going in the morning, we first took some couple portraits at home, before both of them got ready separately. It was the beginning of an unforgettable day.

Visiting Dunquin Pier & Cliffs of Moher
Our first stop on this Elopement day was Dunquin Pier. I had been there before when I was visiting Ireland on vacation and already knew back then, that with it’s winding path down to the shore and dramatic views, it’d be absolutely perfect if I ever were to come to Ireland again for an Elopement.
After a few more photos along the way we ended the day at a nearby beach in Kerry County with some unique caves, that we were able to explore at low tide.
The highlight of it all was still waiting for us on the next day though: Them sharing their vows at the iconic Cliffs of Moher at sunset, probably Ireland’s most famous landmark.
Picture this: you two standing on the edge of these spectacular cliffs with nothing but the endless ocean stretching out before you, a place where time seems to stand still. All of this becomes reality when you’re choosing to elope.
The best time to elope in Ireland
Spring (March to May)
Spring offers mild weather, few tourist and lush, green landscapes. Temperatures are of course cooler, but with sunset still being a little earlier, the planning of your Elopement timeline gets easier. The Elopement from this post was in April.
Summer (June to August)
Summer offers warmer temperatures and more daylight to enjoy the scenic beauty of Ireland. However, it’s also peak tourist season, so some spots will be busier and your travel costs higher. Also, with sunset being at around 8-9pm, getting photos at that time is harder to schedule.
Fall (September to November)
Fall is a beautiful time to elope in Ireland, with vibrant autumn colors and fewer tourists. You’ll likely get to enjoy quieter locations for a more intimate experience, just like in Spring.
Winter (December to February)
If you’re not afraid of the cold and are maybe looking for a shorter Elopement experience, winter can be a good choice for your Elopement in Ireland. Flights and accommodation will be significantly cheaper around this time.
Ireland Elopement Packages
How much does an Elopement in Ireland cost?
The prices for an Elopement in Ireland can vary quite a bit. Things like travel, accommodation, the specific locations you want to visit and even the season all play a role. But good news: an Elopement is still much more affordable than a traditional wedding and you’re investing 100 % of your money in a day that’s all about you.
To give you an estimate though, most Elopements in Ireland cost in the range of 5.000–9.000 € (5,400–9,700 $), not including your travel costs.
