Dreamy Destination Wedding in Slovenia
Imagine enjoying your wedding with a view that looks like straight out of a fairytale. That’s what Petty & John got by choosing the scenic Lake Bled for their incredible Destination Wedding in Slovenia, which was planned by the amazing team at Wedding Lake Bled. Their wedding was the start of my season that year and one that I can’t wait to share with you.
The day began with them getting ready in the luxury Grand Hotel Toplice, right at the shore of Lake Bled, where we’d also be again for the amazing wedding party later in the evening.

Saying “I do” in Slovenia’s most stunning scenery
I had been to Lake Bled before, albeit only on vacation. It made being back as Petty & Johns Lake Bled Wedding Photographer extra special though.
Around noon we all got into the famous wooden rowboats and headed for the little island where the church for the ceremony was. Not the worst way to get around, is it?
After a great reception we made our way back across the lake for some photos and got back to the hotel for an amazing party that went on well into the night.
